As of today, January 18, 2026, my official website is live! This is where I will track my progress on new and existing projects…completion progress, publication status, representation, and everything else. I hope this will be the first in a long line of posts updating my (currently non-existent) followers about upcoming releases and, hopefully someday soon, published works.

First, who am I? I’m Austin Daniel, a 33-year-old aspiring novelist and screenwriter living in California. I studied English at UCLA and am currently seeking representation for my portfolio. My primary focus at the moment is on my completed manuscript for The Blood Games, an action-thriller novel that I hope to put out into the world this year. Whether that is through traditional publishing means or self-publishing on the Amazon Kindle marketplace remains to be seen.

I also have two more novels in the pipeline, both still works in progress: Bay Scrapers, a sci-fi action-drama; and Murderer’s Row, a dystopian courtroom crime drama. For more information about each, see the Other Works tab!

My current goal is to acquire a literary agent to represent me on my publication journey. Follow this blog for updates as I begin the long journey towards publication.
